GCSE and A level Physics only

​I have been teaching A level Physics for fifteen years and tutoring both GCSE and A level physics for longer.

I specialise in helping students to really understand what is going on in exam questions and to truly understand the physics involved. This subject cannot be successfully navigated by a simple learning approach. True understanding is required.

I develop a rapport with my students enabling them to engage fully with this challenging subject.

I have taught at several schools, and for the past eight years have only taught A level part time. At my latest school, I taught a student who achieved the only A grade ever achieved in that school.
 

I have three children, two of who have taken A level physics, with one going on to study for a BSc in physics and the other a MSc in Electrical Engineering.

I have extensive knowledge of AQA, OCR and Edexcel exam boards.
 

I offer both face- to-face tutorials in London and East Kent, together with online tutorials.
